     Unfortunately the tattoo machine light is designed to be put on a coil machine more so than rotary machines. However with the Hildbrandt Silencer and Beretta you can put the alligator clip on one end of the clip cord connectors and the eyelet on the other and bend the light around.

     These rotaries do not have any give, this armature bar style rotary has traditionally not required give. The only thing that is necessary to adjust performance is the size of the bearing.

    I noticed in the clip for the training video that he was setting up on a coil machine. Is there a section on rotary machines as well? or is it the same for both types?

      The rotary is actually quite similar to setup the needle and tube to the coil machines. In fact it is much simpler, so we did not create a 2nd video covering rotary machines as they are so straight forward and everything regarding there setup, if you know how to do it with coil machines, you’ll know how to do it with rotary.

      We can ship to Spain, however there have been some customers packages that are stopped by Spain customs. Apparently they have some restrictions on the tattoo ink and needles and therefore you should consult Spanish customs agency before you place your order to double check if there will be any problems to import. Also, there may be import taxes.

    For a beginner, would it be better to buy a kit with coil machines or with rotary machines?

      Coil machines allow for fine tuning of the way the machine runs and hits. This does require a bit of a learning curve. Rotary machines are generally plug and play without too much adjustments required, so it is far simpler to use. They both are capable of doing a fine tattoo.

      Mexico customs requires an importer of tattoo equipment to have a medical license. If you do not have this license, you will not be able to receive, or at least encounter a lot of problems receiving your order. We urge customers from Mexico to clarify with Mexico customs first what kind of license/permit is required before they order from us. Problems that occur from a transaction where the customer did not have the proper documentation to receive their order are not our responsibility.

    I was wondering how long your warranty is for the hildbrant two gun tattoo kit is? I recently bought a kit and the adjuster at the top does not work… Can I get just the one machine replaced or would it have to be the entire kit?

      There is a 6 month warranty and from the sounds of it, if it is just the top adjuster it is simply a part that you need. Please contact support@tattoomachineequipment.com to provide your first and last name used for the transaction and provide a brief description of the problem you are having and our tech staff will take care of the rest.

      Hello,

      Thank you for your inquiry. To be honest, it is personal preference on rather the Coil machines are easier or the Rotary machines. The rotary machines are easy to use for they do not require any tuning or adjustments. You basically need to plug it into a power supply and it is ready to go. The rotary machines are lighter and quieter as well, if that helps your selection process.

      As for the coil machines, if you are use to the weight and like how it is heavier, as well as the tuning options of the machine, then the coil machines are more for you.

      So i do apologize i would not be able to provide one or the other as answer to your question. But i hope the description would help your selection.

    I am wondering what the difference is between this kit(standard sized, I assume) and the mini rotary kit? Is it as simple as the physical size of the machines? This site does not clarify the difference, it even uses the exact same picture for both listings, making this very confusing! Thank you for your help.

      Thank you for your inquiry. I do apologize for any confusion caused. The main difference in the two kits is the supplies that it comes with. The machines are the same. So for example, the Mini comes only with 35 needles in the kit, and the starter kit comes with 50 needles. As well, the starter kit comes with the Fundamental Tattoo Basics book, which includes a year of subscription to the tattoo Forum, and the mini does not come with that book or subscription.

      Those are the main two differences between the two kits.

      Thank you for your inquiry. The main difference between the Mini kit and the starter kit is the equipment. Both kits do come with the same machines and power supply, but the quantity of equipment do differ. So for example, the Mini only comes with 35 needles, while the Starter kit comes with 50. The Mini only comes with the Tattoo Crash Course 101 book, and the Starter comes with the Fundamental Basics book with 1 year subscription to the most popular tattoo forum for learning.

But how good the art turns out will not depend on the machine, but rather on the artist. Think of the machines as a pencil, rather you draw a good picture would not depend on what pencil you use, but how good you are at drawing.

      The machines are quality machines, and as long you take care of them, i have artists that have been using them for years without any issues.

    I got this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. I had a hard time choosing between this one and the $99 one. I called and a gentlemen helped with my selection. He recommended this one because of the book that comes with it and my daughter is a beginner, so he said he would be very helpful that she have something to teach her some common techniques of the trade. I am glad i ended up choose this one, because the book really helps, she loves the whole set, and her eyes lit up as soon as she unwrapped the gift. And thats all that matters when you a buying a gift for someone you love, its to see that smile on their face. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP AND FAST SHIPPING!

    A decent setup that has had its pros and cons. Not a fan of the crappy grommets and papers. The main things usable is the ink, needles, tubes, power supply and machines. Forget the gloves.. they are pure shite! The DVD looks like it was made in the 1980’s and the guy does a tattoo on his own leg!

    I am very pleased with this kit. It came with everything that it said it would. The only thing I dislike is the grommets that came with it. Some of them barely have a ledge but other than that this is great for a beginner or pro! And it arrived not even a week after I made my purchase! (:

      Thank you for your inquiry and im sorry for any confusion. You are right there is no tutorial on Rotary machines and that is because they do not require any special set up. You simply need to plug in all the wires like power supply, clip cord, foot pedal, and it will work.
