Very good quality-price machine! The batteries recharge quickly and allow you to work sessions of 4 to 5 hours. The Javelin Flex comes with 2 batteries and an RCA adapter. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks, it’s a machine that can do both large lines and delicate work. I was surprised about how i could get ink easily into the skin! Only one small detail annoys me, it’s the lack of adjustment at the needle level when we adjust the machine for a stroke of 4.2… We have to be careful with our tattooing methods because depending on the cartridge used, the needles come out a lot. I like the luxury of having the tattoo time session on the screen 🙂 Not very noisy, not much vibration and just a little heavier than the spektra flux that i was using before. A good choice if you no longer want to follow the trend of tattoo pens costing 1000 and more.

This is a good machine for the price. Smooth black and grey fine line bold lines and solid color packing on the fly. I’ve been using this for a few weeks. Now without any complaints. It is a little bit heavier then my other tattoo pens but not by much and once it is wrapped up with a disposable foam grip or just self adhesive grip tape it really isn’t noticeable. The program in the batteries were a little bit of a learning curve but after a few days of constant use it became second nature. I definitely would recommend this to anyone interested in an adjustable machine at an affordable price.

Seems like it can only use certain cartridges. Some cartridges fall out after a few minutes of using the pen…Definitely will only be using this tattoo pen for practicing on fake skin. Other than that it seems pretty decent for it’s price.
